Joseph passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017.

Joseph was a resident of Wattsburg, Pennsylvania at the time of passing.

He was a Corporal in the U.S. Army during World War II and honorably served his country from June 3, 1944 to January 27, 1946 first landing in Naples, Italy and then being called up to serve in Germany as a mortar gunner.

Family and friends are invited to call at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pine Avenue Branch , 845 E. 38 th St., Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a funeral Mass at St. Matthias Church, 1762 French Creek Mina Rd., Clymer, NY 14724, Tuesday at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in St. Matthias Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Shriner's Hospital, 1645 W. 8 th St., Erie, PA 16505 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
